Joseph C. Von Lehman, Jr., is a well-rounded financial executive with over 30 years experience in public accounting, venture capital, and middle-market company senior management. Joe joined The Meridian Group in early 2009 as Managing Director, Tri-State Area, to establish a regional office to service southeastern Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Before joining The Meridian Group, Joe was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Radac Corporation, a middle-market manufacturer and distributor of radiator products. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manger at River Cities Venture Funds, a venture capital firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he raised investment capital, reviewed and recommended investment opportunities for the firm, and worked with portfolio companies to maximize their potential.
From 1972 to 1993, Joe was an associate of Von Lehman and Company, a large regional accounting firm serving northern Kentucky and southeastern Ohio. He finished his career there as Managing Partner and CEO. During his tenure as Managing Partner, he grew the firm from four employees to over sixty employees and established its reputation as one of the premier regional firms in the area.
Joe brings a wealth of financial and business management acumen to The Meridian Group. He is a graduate of Thomas More College and a veteran of the United States Army. He remains a Certified Public Accountant.
Joe is a past Chairman of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, past Chairman of the Redwood School and Rehabilitation Center, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Tri County Economic Development Corporation.
